Love Is War | Part 1

"Happy birthday Honey!"
Fionna opened her eyes. She saw cake, her homie, smiling at her.
"H-hey. Why are you up so early?" groaned Fionna. She was dreaming about Marshall and Gumball. She blushed at the thought.
"To wish you a happy birthday! Baby, get up! You have a party to go to, Gumball told me so. You go girl, and have fun with him."
"O-oh... its my birthday?" It was my birthday? Ugh, and I need to go to my party?
"A party..."
"Yes honey, your party!! Hurry up, I'll be with my dear Mono. We need to talk, him and me"
Fionna reluctantly got up, and changed into her normal clothes, a short blue skirt, a t-shirt, and her cute bunny hat.

Fionna reached Gumball's hall. Looking around, she saw that all of the candy people were dancing to music. The hall was decorated beautifully with a gigantic cake in the centre of the hall, and a banner hung limp on a wall, with the words "Happy Birthday Fi" typed onto it. Typical of Gumball...did he not know how to spell my name?
"Oh yeah, I'm like, so lumpin' good at dancin'!!" puffed Lumpy Space Prince from somewhere behind her. Fionna turned around.
"Hey Fi. Gumball totally asked me to tell you that he's in his bedroom. He lumpin' wants you!"


Gumball wants me? Whats he doing in his bedroom? Fionna walked cautiously to his bedroom. She found him on his bed, and he smiled warmly at her when he spotted her."Happy birthday Fionna..."
She couldn't take her eyes off his face. She walked slowly towards his bed.
"Oh and Fionna, watch out for-"
"Aaaaaahh!!!" Fionna screamed as she accidently tripped on a pile of books to find herself landing on top of Gumball.
"Oh my Glob, I'm so sorry, I-" Gumball leaned in at the opportunity to kiss her. Fionna widened her eyes at Gumball's sweet lips, and couldn't help kissing back.
"Fi- fionna, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Fionna and Gumball parted, and they turned their heads towards the door, to find Marshall Lee, standing at the doorway.
